The Kirkland tea is $.20/bag, but shipping is free. This tea has an authentic green tea flavor, much like the Kirkland Signature Green Tea Matcha Blend 100% Japanese Tea. Priced at $.17/bag, it doesn't get much cheaper for tea with this kind of good flavor, but there is a $6 shipping charge through Amazon. Although the bags are in lined pouches, they are also packed in sets of 10 bags, so you can grab a set to go if you want to. I recommend this tea.
I use 8 teag bags in my Hamilton Beach Ice Tea maker and it comes out at just the right strength. This green tea is wonderful. Very fresh. Will definitely purchase again. Also, it arrived 2 days after ordering.
I use the tea bags at work and on travel. After living in Japan for 4 years, I am hooked on Green Tea. At home I drink loose green tea (better quality), but as far as tea bags go this one is excellent. I particular like this value pack. It is a lot cheaper than buying smaller units or buying it directly from Yamamotoyama.
This tea is one of the better bagged green teas you'll find. however, it doesn't come close to a fresh loose green tea. It's not bad if you want something quick & easy for a good price.
The first time I tasted anything from Yamamotoyama was at Epcot Center in their Japanese exhibit. It's not to strong, and not to weak. I thought that only Epcot would sell the teas, but then found out otherwise. This style of green tea is delectable, down to the last drop. I usually drink this style with milk and sugar, sorta like an Earl Grey, but it can be drank anyway you prefer. A great buy.
